Channel Islands-headquartered compliance and governance specialist Redwood Group has opened a new office in Ireland and appointed financial services specialist Sinead Murray as Managing Director.
The announcement comes as Redwood looks to expand its operations beyond the Channel Islands and capitalise on growing market opportunities in Ireland’s corporate governance space.
In her new position, Sinead will play a pivotal role in building Redwood Ireland’s team, identifying new business opportunities and overseeing a premium client service delivery.
Murray brings extensive financial services experience to the role.
A trained and qualified Chartered Accountant, she spent 12 years in tax and advisory teams in ‘Big 4’ accountancy practices and six years in industry.
She has worked with leading asset managers, banks, insurance companies and other corporates and privately-owned structures with operations or interests in the Channel Islands, Ireland and the UK.
In her most recent role, Murray was Executive Director for a South African private equity fund manager with its ManCo in Guernsey, and sat on the boards of numerous investment entities and GPs.
