Revolut reaches three million customers in Ireland

Must read

Online bank service Revolut now has three million customers in Ireland.

The company said it also has 429,000 customers under-18, a third of all the children in Ireland.

The service has more than 27,500 business customers which is a third more Irish businesses than it served in 2023.

This year saw sales of personal loans at Revolut rise by 20% year-on-year, while credit cards recorded annual sales growth of 87%.

Looking ahead to 2025, Revolut said it will keep working hard on its imminent entry into the Irish mortgage market.

The company has announced that the Irish Revolut branch is under new leadership following the appointment of General Manager Malcolm Craig, succeeding Maurice Murphy, who joins the Revolut Bank Management Board.

“We’re immensely proud of our position here – you don’t become a verb, for good reason, easily,” Mr Craig said.

“We will continue to build on the trust of our customers to make Ireland a better place to bank for consumers country-wide,” he added.
