Robbie Brady has been named in the latest Republic of Ireland squad ahead of their two friendlies in June.
The Boys in Green, still under the interim care of defensive legend John O’Shea, face two sides looking to best prepare themselves for the UEFA EUROs, which get underway on 14th June.
Ireland will firstly host Hungary at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Tuesday 4th June (7.45pm), before then travelling to Aveiro to face Portugal a week later at the same kick-off time.
Robbie, who made 32 appearances for North End during the 2023/24 season, featured twice for Republic of Ireland during the March international break, against Belgium and Switzerland.
The 32-year-old has made a mightily impressive 62 caps for his nation and scored nine times, with the most recent goal being in September 2022 against Armenia.
