Roberts Nathan and MHA merge to form Baker Tilly Ireland – Business Plus

Dublin and Cork-based accountancy firm Roberts Nathan has officially merged with with the UK’s MHA to former Baker Tilly Ireland

All staff will be retained and the combined company has plans to add 100 jobs over the next two years as part of its expansion strategy. The positions will span audit, advisory and tax services.

The new roles will range from graduates to experienced professionals and will be based in Dublin and Cork, with hybrid working options available.

The merger was first announced in May, and the enlarged firm is expected to offer a more comprehensive range of services and sector expertise.

“This proposed merger marks a pivotal milestone, enabling us to leverage our combined strengths to provide more extensive services and innovative solutions to our clients while creating significant growth opportunities for our team,” said Vivian Nathan, managing partner at Roberts Nathan and the new regional chief operations officers at Baker Tilly Ireland.

MHA is Britain’s 13th largest accountancy group and the UK member of Baker Tilly International.

The Baker Tilly Ireland name has been free since Baker Tilly’s Irish arm was acquired by Azets and rebranded as Azets Ireland last year.
