Séamus Coleman should be fit for international duty next month as Everton boss Sean Dyche has confirmed that the defender’s injury is not a long-term one.
There were concerns over the availability of Coleman for club and country in the medium term when he limped out of Saturday’s Nations League loss at home to England, Coleman having managed 90 minutes for Everton in their last game before the international window.
Speaking today, Dyche said he was unsure if Coleman would be fit for Saturday’s league game with Aston Villa but he should be back in action soon.
“Séamus is touch and go for the weekend, unfortunately, but we will see how he goes, how he recovers tomorrow,” Dyche said.
