Rory McIlroy will go into the final round of the US Open this evening with three shots to make up.
The Down man will tee-off from four under par in a tie for second at 7.10pm Irish time after a one under par third round of 69 at Pinehurst.
American Bryson DeChambeau is the man to catch, he’s solo top of the leaderboard on seven under.
Shane Lowry will be out from five over par with Tom McKibbin a shot back on six over par.
Meijer Classic
Stephanie Meadow will get her final round of the Meijer Classic underway from four under par today.
Leona Maguire is a shot back on three under.
Australian Grace Kim leads by five on 17 under par.
Gaelic games
All-Ireland football
Dublin versus Mayo is the standout fixture as the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship group stages continue today.
They meet in Roscommon for a 3.45pm throw in.
James McCarthy starts on the bench for Dessie Farrell’s side.
Before that, Galway and Armagh meet in Sligo at 1.45pm.
Elsewhere, Louth face Kerry and Monaghan come up against Meath with both of those games getting underway at 3pm.
Tailteann Cup
The last of the Tailteann Cup quarter-finals are down for decision this afternoon.
Kildare and Laois will be aiming to book their places in the last four when they meet at 1:15pm.
Down, Sligo and Fermanagh all progressed on Saturday thanks to wins over Wicklow, Limerick and Antrim respectively.
Euro 2024
It’s day three of Euro 2024 with England kicking-off their tournament this evening.
They come up against Serbia in their opener at 8pm.
Before that, the day’s action kicks off with the meeting of Poland and the Netherlands at 2pm.
That is followed by Slovenia taking on Denmark at 4pm.

Ireland will finish their T20 World Cup campaign this afternoon.
They play Pakistan in a dead rubber game after failing to win any of their group stage games so far.
