Paul Stirling named Ireland’s premanent white-ball captain
While Stirling leads the side, he has got experienced campaigners Andrew Balbirnie and George Dockrell with him as the Irishmen look for their maiden title win.
Opening batter Paul Stirling has been named captain as Cricket Ireland announced the 15-man squad on Tuesday. The Ireland cricket team is placed in Group A and will open its campaign against India on June 5. The other participants in the group are Pakistan, Canada and hosts USA.
While Stirling leads the side, he has got experienced campaigners Andrew Balbirnie and George Dockrell with him as the Irishmen look for their maiden title win.
