The PFA Ireland Team of the Year for the League of Ireland Premier Division has been released.
The 2024 edition – which was, as ever. picked by the players – is quite an intriguing team, boasting a 39-year-old and a 36-year-old amongst it ranks.
Shamrock Rovers and Derry City each contribute three players to the Men’s Premier Division Team of the Year, while League leaders Shels have two players in the team.
Veteran Padraig Amond, a year into his return to Ireland, is Waterford’s sole representative.
