A Tralee man who won the WHEA Ireland’s Natural Strongest Man title at the weekend will compete in the World Strongman Championship in Finland in September, and is quietly confident of winning the world title.

David Culloty, from Ballybeggan, won the under-100kg Irish title at the StrengthShed in Monaghan on Sunday, where he saw off strong opposition across five disciplines to be crowned national champion.
