Police have issued a warning about traffic disruption ahead of Monday’s Schools’ Cup final.

The annual rugby clash takes place at the Kingspan Stadium in Belfast.

This year’s final is between RBAI and Ballymena Academy.

The PSNI has urged those attending to leave extra travel time for their journey.

A spokesperson said: “Entry to the ground for fans will be via the Onslow Parade and Mount Merrion Avenue turnstiles. If you are driving to the match, which has a 3pm kick off, please park with consideration for the local residents and businesses.

“Road closures are in effect in the immediate area around the stadium.

“Please check Ulster Rugby social media channels and website for parking information.

“Traffic disruption is expected due to the large number of supporters attending the fixture, so please plan ahead and leave extra time for your journey.”
