Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was spotted in the west of Ireland last year and now we know why thanks to a post made by a Galway business.
The British television personality, who is widely known for hosting his cooking competition show Hell’s Kitchen, visited Kelly Oysters.
The Kilcolgan-based business broke the news on Facebook on Monday, by saying: “We are thrilled to announce that we had the incredible honour of welcoming none other than Gordon Ramsay to our oyster farm as part of his culinary adventure on the west coast of Ireland!
“This experience was truly unforgettable, offering us the chance to showcase our oysters alongside other amazing Irish produce.”
The episode, which is part of the series “Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted”, is premiering on National Geographic in the USA today.
Kelly Oysters say the episode will “celebrate the beauty, flavour, and spirit of Ireland’s west coast – a culinary adventure you won’t want to miss!”
The series will be available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu from May 28.
