Holiday rental company HomeToGo analysed beaches known for their swoon-worthy sunsets and solitudes to reveal the world’s sexiest shores.
From romantic Greek islands to the seductive southern Italian coastline, HomeToGo revealed the ultimate list of ‘The World’s 100 sexiest beaches’.
While Ireland might not be the first place that comes to mind when you think ‘sexy’ – with the exception of a few homegrown Hollywood icons – two Irish beaches actually made the list.

The seductive northern and southern shores – two breathtaking beaches
Coming in at number 57, the beautiful Whiterocks Beach in County Antrim was one of the two Irish beaches named among the ‘sexiest’ in the world’, according to HomeToGo.
The beach was ranked on various criteria. It received a secluded score of 6.74, a sunset score of 6.73, and a romantic restaurants score of 8.00. It was also ranked on its ‘popularity with couples’ and an LGBTQIA+ score.
Heading south, the picturesque Derrynane Beach in County Kerry also received a mention. Coming in at number 89, it received a secluded score of 9.81, a sunset score of 5.00, and an LGBTQIA+ score of 8.59.

Whether you’re happily in love or are looking for a summer romance, the sexiest beaches in the world are perfect for your summer holiday.
Joining the two Irish beaches to be named among the ‘sexiest’ in the world are sultry shores from every continent.
Taking the top spot, Australia’s Cable Beach received an impressive 9.62 secluded score and a 9.53 sunset score. In second place is Spiaggia di Maria Pia in Italy, with Brazil’s Baia do Sancho following close behind in third.
Playa de Ses Illetes in Spain ranked fourth, while Cuba’s Playa Varadero closed out the top five. The first Asian entry came with Agonda Beach in Goa, India, which ranked sixth.
Mexico’s Playa Norte ranked seventh, followed by Portugal’s Praia do Camilo in eighth. Closing out the top ten, Grace Bay Beach in Turks and Caicos ranked ninth. Then, Italy’s Spiaggia dei Conigli followed in tenth.
