Wexford man sets Guinness World Record after rowing continuously around Ireland for 32 days

A man from Co Wexford was one of four Irish men to achieve a Guinness World Record after being the first people to row continuously and unsupported around the island of Ireland.

Ryan Davin from Inch, Gorey along with Aidan O’Reilly, Ciarán Breslin and Jack Norris from Belfast began the expedition, which spanned approximately 800 miles, on June 15 from Bangor Marina and concluded at the same location on July 17. The four men completed the feat of endurance in the exhibition dubbed The Emerald Expedition in 32 days, 7 hours, and 52 minutes without touching land or receiving any additional support.
