According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast, Sunday will start dry but rain will spread to parts of the country during the day.
According to Met Eireann, on Sunday morning, there will be bright spells in the east at first but it will become largely cloudy early on. A dry start for many but outbreaks of rain and drizzle in the west will gradually spread across the country through the morning and afternoon.
The rain will turn more persistent in the west and northwest towards evening. Highest temperatures 15 to 19 degrees in light to moderate southerly winds, fresh at times in the southwest.
Sunday night will be overcast with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, most persistent in the west and north. Mild and humid with temperatures not falling below 13 to 15 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds.
Monday will be a cloudy and damp day for many with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. The rain will slowly clear to the southeast later in the day. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees in light to moderate northwesterly winds.
